A long, busy, chaotic and full of surprises day. One of those days, were you hope, that it might come to anend … better sooner than later. Still. It was a beautiful day full of action and positive achievements.
They have rocked the show. From the early morning, when she got woken up by Didi to milk their beloved cows, out of her peaceful sleep. During the day. When they were all planting the fields and terraces. When they were running after the goats to keep them out of their paddy fields. When they were preparing lunch for everyone and the nightly quarter for the cows. The whole day.
The language barrier. It made communication harder. At least for her. She was the foreigner. He wasn't there. That day. He was running around by himself, fulfilling his own duties of the day. They were here and there and everywhere. Keeping the show running. Feeding cows. Watering plants. Cooking food. Washing dishes. Enjoying nature and enjoying themselves and life.
The whole day carried a beautiful sense and smelling of happiness. Here was chaos going on. There was chaos going on. But it was peaceful. Sometimes they were sensing each others presence. Knowing instinctual what the other person was doing. Sensing each other. Feeling each other.
One moment.
They were both in their one little world and action. He came up the rocky stone stairs to their home. She was just on her way down. They were both on their own mission. In their own speed, carried forward by their own thoughts.
They were passing each other. Holding in for each other. Their look were capturing each others glare. Eyes full of joy, happiness and sparkle. So quick their arms were reaching out for each other, emerging in each others open heart, so quick they both went back to their daily duties.
The moment passed
Just to fall, at the end of the day, tired and exhausted, next to each other, in front of the warming flames of their flickering fire. Happy and peaceful.
