A swim into infinity
Since days she felt this unpleasant feeling on her chest. Like something puts a lot of weight on her lungs. It's not like a constant feeling of pressure. More like every now and than. At the moment, the tight feeling on her breast was intense. Her arising and pumping heart echoed back in her ears. Constant. Loud. Bumm bumm. Bumm bumm. Bumm bumm.
The music became background noise. She stood up from her chair, took her top of, checked her pocket bags and turned towards the dark black wide open ocean. The sand under her feet was warm and soft. She walked slowly, aware of each of her steps. How slightly her toes touching, for the very first time the fine grains of soft beach sand. How the changing weight of her body is changing the structure of her carpet of white pacific sand. How the fine sand is slowly drizzling in between her toes and makes her feel tickled. She just loves the warm feeling of sand under her naked feed. The music gets superseded by the rhythmical melody of the oceans' surf. The ground under her feel start to change. Turns more and more damp. More firm. Just to turn shortly after into a squishy soft mass of ocean drained sand.
She kept going. The first waves welcomed her surrounding her ankles. She kept going. The water rose slowly with each determined step she took into the deep black sea. She embraced the water. She embraced the openness. She embraced the stars and the universe. The water was already up to her belly and breast. The waves embraced her body and made her float. The last tips of her tiptoes left the sanding ground. She takes a deep breath and dives under the uncertainty of the black ocean. With the last hair under the water, the pressured feeling on her chest became loose. Not just loose. It started to change.
To come alive.
To move.
To turn.
To twist.
To twirl.
To change.
Into this intense, immense scream form the very deep of her inner self. The bubbles bursted through the calm blanket of ocean.
She turned around to look at the sky. She feels like in space. Weightlessly floating on the salty waves of the Pacific Ocean, embrace by water and universe. The darkness of the ocean became one with the darkness of the sky. Millions of stars are glowing and sparkling. She takes a deep breath, turns around and started to swim into infinity*.
