Natural Disaster

In times of natural disasters one slows down for a moment. Breathes in. Breathes out. You look around. You realize the essence of life, this precious gift of the universe for each one of us.

That was happening to me, while the vibrating earth, slowly but steady emerged from the centre of our planet through the old before millennia formed mountain ranges of Kathmandu. Just to burst out into an immense waver of uncontrolled energy. Tickling my bare feet. Shaking my legs. Trembling my body. Making the range of mountains in front of my eyes waving like an awaken ocean. Swallowing one, two, three homes in a blink of an eye. I am not attending. Not attached. Knowing for the better.

There are coming screams form the tips of the mountains. The whole valley is filled up with voices of fear, pain and agony.

The earth calms down.
Silence enters the valley.
An uncertain moment.

Extending.

Making you one more time questioning the 'humanoid' concept of space and time. Oppressing silence. Take a deep breath. Breath in the moment. Become the moment.

Than.

The calls from the mountains begin. The villagers talk to each other. Telling their stories about what just happened.
