Songs of the world

It was like a lightening strike in my brain. At least this is how I imagine the feeling of it. I got remembered! First as a glimpse of realization, than as a spreading fire of belief.

Share the beauty of music, melody, meaning and feeling around the globe. I got remembered and inspired by the beautiful musical nature of the Singhalese people I'e met in Sri Lanka. They invite you to their homes and families. They invite you with open hearts and arms. They make you part of their family.

There is nothing else, you can make a Sri Lankan more happy with, than singing a song. Oh wait, there is, you can sing - with a funny german accent, full of passion and thousand missing tones - a song in their language. During my stay in Sri Lanka at the English Bank, an private International School, the students and I had a lot of fun teaching and learning each others songs. I never made it over the course of each of them. But we had a lot of fun.
