Lila Lumbini

I had this one day in Lumbini. It was my day in Lumbini. The second day of arrival. The first day for exploration. Lumbini is small. There is really not so much happening … and there is no need for it. The whole attention is getting drawn to 'the place where the Buddha was born'.

The same place I got called to. In my dreams. Still awkward. Also awkward being here. I fell a tickling in my belly. Being there. Being here. Feel the tickling becoming stronger how closer I get. Curious. Excited.

Expectations? What to expect? I expected nothing and received – a beautiful day in peace and harmony. An inner feeling of acceptance. I felt free and relieved happiness.

I didn't go inside the birthplace pilgrimage. There was no need for it. I circled the stupa. Three times. Alone. Slowly. I enjoyed it. It was quite and silent. My mind was quite and silent.

At the end – Lumbini is most of all a beautiful place on earth, I was blessed enough to visit.
