Malay - A language like a melody

My time in Malaysia hasn't been too long yet. But I like the country. So far. The Malayans are very sweet people. Well, most of my impressions are from the people I've met in Penang, a big touristy island on the upper west cost. I've met Nazri, chef and baker of Wheat Connection THE most remarkable bakery and restaurant in town. I've met Charlie, our all hostel daddy, pure soul and every morning a delight getting a big hug of him - you can't start better a day. I've met Remi, what a talented musician with a voice like sugar, that makes my skin hair goosebump.

They all tried patiently teaching me their local language ... and more. But the most patient they had in trying to teach me some simple words of communication. I am happy they did and still do. If I meet them ...

Here my on going collection of words you better know and those you smile, laugh and than quickly forget about them. ;-)
