TravelBooks

One of my favourite things while traveling is the sensation when a new book finds me. First of all the concept, 'cause thats the core of it and it's just brilliant. Reading while traveling is common. Every one loves it. Every one enjoys it. Books are being swapped. Books are getting changed. You leave one in one guesthouse. You pick up another one in an other guesthouse. The circulation is just astonishing. Apart from each personal language boundary there is non. If you are curios, pick it up. Read it. Emerge in the story. Read something new. Something interesting.

The funny thing anyway is, the book will find you. You pick it up, drawn towards it. It's now time to read it. It's your time to read it. Well, I stumbled across a couple of good books, I want to present and recommend here. Some you might know, like those you needed to be reminded of as one of your 'I want to read this book'-list ('Game of thrones' is one of my ones, found and read in Colombo, Sri Lanka Christmas 2014). Others you might have never heard before of, like me, so the brilliant work of Andreas Feininger that fall dusty and old-book-smelly (love it!) into my hands on the Coconut Estate in Kotadeniyawa. Just love this photographer, man. The top favourite and brilliant work of Paulo Coelho have to be mentioned, for sure. All of his novels are superior pieces of literature. But 'The Zahir' just nails it at the moment for me. Coelho is for me so much Nepal. So much truth discovered. So much more confused. So much more open.

Dive in, get inspiration, enjoy and have fun.

If you like one of them, why not follow the link to amazon and put in on your wish list or straight away in the shopping basket? If you do so, over this link, as well as all other products you purchase with amazon, will benefit with a small percentage towards my travel expenses. But FIRST enjoy reading. Hope you find the one or other treasure, the one or other eye opener like me.

Verzweiflung? Trauer? Ich denke weiter ... über das, was auf unserer Erde passiert....
I do love this amazing ability of the universe to supply me with books and topics that are just appealing to my every time life circumstances. So as well 'Samskara. A Ride for a Dead Man' about a small Hindu village, their Sadhus, an out-fallen One, his unexpected death and the many questions...
